Who Jesus Is

Everyone is born with an emptiness in their soul... one that can only be filled by Jesus Christ. Some have heard of Jesus through Bible stories when they were young, others have lived with Him their entire life, and others have, unfortunately, never heard His name.

Is there something missing in your life? We are all born with an emptiness in our soul. Every pursuit in life is designed to fill that emptiness. Some follow after all kinds of immoral evil and wickedness, only to find the emptiness is still there. Yet, others follow after a good moral life of doing good deeds - they may get an education, develop a career, achieve wealth, raise a good family, and have the respect of their peers but, still the emptiness remains.

1. What can satisfy?

It is not material things or other people that can satisfy the emptiness in your soul; it is only found in one person. There is only one who can save your soul from hell - Jesus Christ, the virgin-born Son of the Living God.

2. Who is Jesus?

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came from heaven and lived on earth as a man. He was tempted to sin (or, do things that go against what God wants) just like every person on earth is tempted, yet He never sinned. Since He had no sin of His own to be judged for by God, He volunteered to die on the cross and pay the penalty for your sin and redeem you by shedding His precious blood for you.

To be a sinner means that you owe a debt of sin that you cannot pay, but Jesus Christ - who was not a sinner - paid your debt for sin. A debt which He did not owe. Jesus suffered and died on the cross taking upon Himself the punishment you deserve. And, He pardons you and releases you from that debt when you accept Jesus to be your Lord and Savior by faith.
